Truly, madly, wembley BBC3
Anyone watch it?
Never seen such underwhelmed 'fans' at winning the FA CUP as this lot.
The goons really do have some cringy bods following them these days.
And as for strolling about in a replica shirt with the opposition in tow..whats that all about!

Those group of lads including the one with the spray tan are the kind of Essex type lads that I would imagine support us nowadays.

They were Kent for starters...

Thought the arsenal taxi driver who dragged his spurs mate to watch it was funny. His mate was hating it more then the Villa.

Know shit loads of Arsenal boys... including one of my best MATES who was put on his arse an infamous day a certain smoke bomb was let off over their way... over all all the ones I have met have been decent lads..

Didn't Osama Bin Laden pop along to some Arsenal home games when he was in London or was that an urban myth?

Studies show that the most defining characteristic of any human is the football team that he/ she supports.

Up until the point that Hitler stood on the North Bank (Highbury) to see the Gunners lose to the Y*dspurs he was a very loving, caring and inclusive person.

"Nothing wrong with that, we have more in common with their supporters than most London clubs .."

Well, I suppose there is a modicum of truth in that statement.

We have regularly flirted with, and quite often succumbed to, relegation.
They have regularly flirted with, and very often succumbed to, the lure of silverware.

Know a few arsenal fans quite well. Mostly working class lads who pay an absolute FORTUNE to follow the club and , like ourselves are quick to have an opinion where their club is concerned.
Nothing wrong with that, we have more in common with their supporters than most London clubs (except Millwall )

The only Arsenal fan I've know at all well was my aunt's third husband. Decent bloke, but probably not representative of the modern Arsenal fan, as he started supporting them in the '30s.

Used to like telling me how the football admission price was less than that for the public baths - where they went for their weekly bath, rather than a swim.

The past is a different country, as someone or other said

I was in the States at the time George Graham was manager and I knew Paul Merson had some substance problems but I never knew how good a player he was, definitely a "Football Maverick"
